Faction Duel
The event has two parts
Monday through Saturday: earn attack rights
The four warzones in each faction combine their points. The higher-scoring faction becomes the attacker. The other faction defends its highest-Rare-Soil warzone.
During the point phase:
- use only the point-producing actions shown in the live event;
- do not assume ASA2 will attack or defend until the result is locked; and
- keep Sunday's battle resources available if you plan to participate.
Sunday: Capitol War
The attacker enters the defending warzone. Players from the same faction cooperate and cannot attack one another. The Capitol and Giant Cannons can be captured, and each structure holds up to 100 squads.
Giant Cannons are not side objectives. They attack the Capitol and accelerate its capture, so ignoring them makes the Capitol defense much harder.
Capturing the Capitol produces an immediate attacker victory. If that does not happen, the winner is determined by structure control when the timer expires. The supplied event card shows +10 million Rare Soil for the Capitol and +5 million for each Giant Cannon; confirm the live reward display before the battle.
Attacker plan
- Divide the four warzones between the Capitol and specific Cannons.
- Fill captured structures quickly.
- Hold enough Cannons to accelerate the Capitol push.
- Concentrate on one faction plan rather than four independent warzone plans.
Defender plan
- Pre-position around the Capitol and Cannons as the live rules allow.
- Assign primary and replacement garrisons.
- Contest the Cannons that create the greatest Capitol pressure.
- Use the live time-expiry victory rule to decide whether to hold, retake, or trade structures.
What varies by live event
Before Sunday, record:
- exact battle start and duration;
- target warzone;
- teleport and shield rules;
- troop-loss rules; and
- the displayed Rare Soil awards.
After the faction result is locked, Leadership will provide the target, structure assignments, primary garrisons, replacement garrisons, and start time.
